When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie moon cake that’s amore ♬ geppei (moon cake) from Nakamuraya — moon cakes are Chinese pastries made to celebate mid-Autumn, though they might be sold year-round, because I know this one is. Nakamuraya’s geppei is adapted for the Japanese palate in that it has a thinner crust, and the sweetness is more subtle. this one is filled with dried fruit and nuts. lots of thanks to my aunt who brought this over. :)
