natto tamago— fermented soy beans and raw egg, with packaged tare (soy sauce/dashi mix). Normally eaten having been mixed well and poured on top of hot steaming rice.
But I just mix it and eat it straight am I weird?Also, in Japan the eggs are safe enough to eat raw due to strict regulation, but here in the States, I am pretty cautious about knowing the sources (free-range chickens) and watching out for salmonella.
